Veterinarian

Dr. Angela Beal, DVM, graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After practicing for several years, she served as program manager for a veterinary technician training program for 15 years. During that time, she co-edited two editions of McCurnin's Clinical Textbook for Veterinary Technicians and contributed to other textbooks. In 2018, Angela began freelance writing for Rumpus Writing and Editing, a veterinary-specific writing business. She transitioned to the company's full-time chief operations officer in 2020 and became the owner and CEO in 2026.

Angela loves educating pet owners, so they know how to provide the best life possible for their pets. She believes that when people know what health problems to watch for and when to reach out to their vet, pets receive essential care, which improves their quality of life. Angela and her husband have two grown sons and two Chihuahua mixes, Yogi (an old man who is always by her side) and Loretta (a much younger pup who brings fun Chihuahua drama to their lives).
